How old were you when you went to your first truly goth event? Hopefully, it was in the 80s or 90s (or else you wouldn’t be here!) but what do you remember from it? Was there anything you did there that you should not have done? Any faux pas committed by you or your friends? Or did you happen to go to the event, despite not being a goth, and make an ass out of yourself and eventually come down that path?

No, really – what do you see as goth when it isn’t being explicitly declared as goth? Have you ever heard a song and picked out part of it, despite it not being a goth song, but finding that there is definitely some goth in there? I did with Stellastarr – has anyone else noticed something sneaking through to another genre?
